Energy Assistance Help
Energy Assistance Program (EAP) funds help qualified households with a one-time payment toward their primary heating source.
Marion County residents can begin scheduling their own Energy Assistance Program (EAP) appointments on October 1, 2019. To schedule your EAP appointment, go to www.IndyEAP.org and click on the “Schedule” button on the top right of the screen.
You can also download a paper application (to mail in) and/or see the eligibility requirements at www.IndyEAP.org. To download a paper application, click on the “Documents” option, then choose “EAP 2020 application”.
If you do not have access to the internet, starting October 21, 2019 you can also call us at Connect2Help and we can help you set that appointment or change an existing appointment if you have a schedule conflict. On or after October 21, please call us at 317-926-HELP (4357) and we are glad to help you get set up for a Marion County Energy Assistance appointment, change an existing appointment, or answer questions about your paper application.
Are you income-qualified for IndyEAP this year?
While there are other qualifications to consider, to be income-qualified for Marion County EAP, please use the chart below and calculate the gross (before taxes) income of all the adults in your household for the last three (3) full calendar months as well as considering your total household size (how many total adults and children live as a unit in your home).
For example, for a two-parent family with 2 kids (under 18), the income of both adults must not exceed $11,940 in the last three months to qualify for EAP.
