Emergency Corp Volunteer

Our Emergency Corp Volunteers played an important role in helping displaced Katrina victims find needed community resources and have assisted the community in numerous other disaster situations.

We are looking for volunteers to help meet additional phone needs during future emergency situations.

Qualities we are looking for in our volunteers:

• Commit to a two hour training program twice a year and be available when disaster strikes
• Empathy
• A desire to help those in need
• Willingness to work with staff and other volunteers
