Mental Health

Connect2Help™2-1-1 is happy to connect callers with counseling, support groups, addiction and other mental health programs.

In October, 2003 Connect2Help™ received accreditation by the American Association of Suicidology (AAS), which is "dedicated to the understanding and prevention of suicide." AAS accreditation validates the assurance of service for persons in crisis. Connect2Help™ was the the first agency in Indiana to be awarded this distinction.

Partnerships

Connect2Help™ has a contract with the Division of Mental Health and Addiction to answer toll-free consumer hotlines to serve persons affected by gambling addiction, alcohol and/or drug addiction, and persons calling to register comments about the state mental health system. Connect2Help™ answers both the Indiana and National Problem Gambling Line, (800) 994-8448 and (800) 522-4700, the federal Addiction Line, (800) 662-4357, and the Mental Health Consumer Service Line, (800) 901-1133.
