Connect2Help™ 2-1-1 employs several bi-lingual, bi-cultural I&R Specialists who are happy to serve callers who are more comfortable speaking in a language other than English. We also provide service to non-English speaking persons through a language interpretation service, should a bi-lingual, bi-cultural I&R Specialist be unavailable at the time of the call.

Connect2Help™ respectfully requests that human service providers NOT use Connect2Help™ interpretation services as a replacement for their own or third-party interpretation services.

In addition to assisting callers, staff provide community outreach services to create awareness of Connect2Help™ 2-1-1 among the Hispanic/Latino population in central Indiana.

Connect2Help™ also oversees the Latino Resources Roundtable, a group created in 2002 for professionals helping the Spanish-speaking population. Within the group, there are opportunities to network and share knowledge of community resources available to the Hispanic population.
