Access for Special Populations

Connect2Help™ seeks to provide access for special populations.

Deaf, Hard of Hearing and Speech-Impaired
Connect2Help™ is working to ensure that persons who are deaf, hard of hearing or speech impaired can access 2-1-1 service via multiple means. However, at this time, TTY users may not yet access the service by dialing 2-1-1 directly, due to technical issues. Connect2Help™ is currently seeking funding to provide TTY service through the use of the 2-1-1 dialing code.

Indiana Relay or 7-1-1 Users
7-1-1 is the toll-free nationwide number that gives everyone access to relay services. People can dial 7-1-1 to reach anyone who uses a standard phone or a TTY (telephone typewriter). 7-1-1 is the three-digit dialing code for Indiana Relay (1-800-743-3333). An operator will relay verbatim the conversation between the parties.

At this time, TTY users in Central Indiana should dial 7-1-1 and ask the relay operator to call (317) 926-4357.
